A huge heart felt and big proud thank you to everyone involved in last night’s hugely successful and most enjoyable Maine Farmland Trust event at the Strand Theater in Rockland, the premiere screening of eight documentaries by Cecily Pingree and Jason Mann profiling eight Maine farms from Aroostock to York Counties.

 

The following Farmers gave very generously of their bounty which was lovingly used to create delicious hors d’oeuvres by our talented chefs, Adam and Claire.
Aldermere Farms: Beef
Appleton Creamery: Cheese
Sonnental Cheese: A variety of cheeses
O’Meara Farms: Milk, cheese and yoghurt
White Foot Farm: Herbs and produce
Maine Water Buffalo Company: Water Buffalo Meat
Broken Acres Farm: Kale and Chard
Green Arrow Farms: Tomatoes
Bevridge Farm: Lettuce and Beet Greens
Townhouse Farm: Lamb Kufta
Tide Mill Farm: Chicken - whole and wings, ricotta and milk.

 

The event was skillfully womanned by Cortney and excellently arranged and managed by Megan with the invaluable help of Sarah.

Our appreciation also goes to Maine Farmland Trust and especially Anna Abaldo.
