"Buy Local" will be the theme of this week's State of the State cable T.V. program.

 

The Maine Center for Economic Policy hosts a weekly, cable t.v. talk show called State of the State. This week's episode focuses on local foods and will feature MOFGA's Organic Marketing Coordinator, Melissa White Pillsbury.

 

Time Warner airs the show on Tuesdays at 7:00p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays at 11:30 a.m., on the following channels: Central Maine, York, Cumberland, Washington & Aroostook Counties - Channel 9; and Penobscot County - Channel 12. Other community television stations running the program include: WOGT - Ogunquit; WVACTV Channel 2 - Bethel; CATTV - Baileyville, Harpswell, Freeport; Bath Community Television - Channel 14; Mt. Blue Community TV; and Brunswick TV3.
